In Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, too many people are left out of our public conversations. United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is changing this with Project LEAD—Leadership Effectiveness And Diversity.
As we prepare for leadership roles with nonprofit agencies throughout our community, learn about advocacy, fundraising and diverse leadership we have a friendly competition amongst our class! We are challenged to see which team can fundraise the most for the United Way's Community Fund!
While this is a friendly challenge, the money we're raising is going to a great cause The objective of the Community Fund is to drive lasting change in the strategic focus areas of Health, Education, and Financial Stability driving us towards a common goal: a better quality of life for all. Your gift to United Way's Community Fund ensures that your donation is invested where the need is greatest. The problems that affect our community are interrelated, only the Community Fund's diversity of programs work together to address the complex causes of poverty, teen pregnancy, homelessness, and so much more.
Join us in leading united by making a donation and helping us to make an impact in our community! United We Win!
