Full-Service On-Site Options

For a sponsorship fee priced per kit, United Way manages all logistics from start to finish including the ordering, shipping, and set-up of needed supplies. This also includes coordination of an agency speaker and delivery of completed kits. United Way is on-site at the project to welcome the group, help manage packing, and assist with clean-up.

New Parent Kit – Help local infants through their first year by supplying new parents with helpful resources and essential supplies including diapers, wipes, and more in a handy diaper bag.

New Home Kit – Support members of our community transitioning from homelessness into homes of their own, by assembling kits of helpful resources and new home supplies.

The Shoebox Project – Create personal care packages of essential hygiene and self-care supplies for local men, women and children in need. Veteran’s Support Shoebox kits also available.

Winter Care Kit – Assemble care packages for local community members who are in need of items to stay warm during the long Wisconsin winters. Items include scarf, hat, hand warmers, helpful resources, and more.

Snack Pack Extravaganza – Build packs of healthy snack items and decorate with encouraging messages all for local children in need.

Limited-Service On-Site Options

For these projects, your organization is responsible for collecting or purchasing the needed supplies. United Way provides helpful shopping lists, collection bins, and additional resources for each project idea.

Birthday Bag Bash – Help local children feel special, especially on their birthday! Include supplies such as balloons, party favors, cake mix and frosting, and wrap in birthday gift bags or boxes.

Children’s Book Collection & Packing Party – Host a new and/or gently used children’s book drive then clean, package and attach encouraging messages to each book.

Laundry Kit – Many of us take clean clothes for granted. Pack kits of laundry items such as detergent, fabric softener, laundry bags, etc. for guests of local shelters and transitional housing facilities.

Mary Lou’s Closet Collection Drive – United Way has identified critical resources needed by local youth throughout the year. Join this effort by driving for and donating these essential supplies.

Sandwich Making – Organize a sandwich-making party to be distributed to local shelters and agencies.

Summer Safety Kits – Help local youth and adults stay safe this summer. Pack kits with sunblock, water bottles, lip balm, sunglasses, and more!

Wellness or Caregiver Kits– Assemble kits with items such as journals and pens, activity books, soft socks, lotions, and stress balls for those in therapy, rehabilitation, or older adult programs.
