You never know when you might be working down the hall from someone with an amazing story to tell. That is what we discovered when we sat down to interview Diallo Mayo, former Community Health Ambassador and Public Ally placed at United Way to work with the Milwaukee Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families Collaborative (LIHF) and current Youth Programming and Prevention Educator with The Parenting Network. In this new role, Diallo is in charge of facilitating comprehensive sexual education and healthy relationship curriculums within various middle school and high schools in the Milwaukee area. When he is not in the schools you can catch him in the office on 75th and Burleigh with the rest of Team Fly (youth programming department) doing research and curriculum review to be as sharp as possible for the student they cater to.

In this episode, Diallo shares his experience of being a young father, and how that motivates him to help men of all ages find their fullest potential as fathers and community members. Diallo also shares his amazing backstory of being adopted, and how his experience living in foster care and finally coming to a forever home feeds into his work with fathers and youth.
