Great Things Happen When We Live

Way of Greater Milwaukee and United Way in
Waukesha County have agreed to merge their
operations to form one organization committed to
improving lives and strengthening communities
across Milwaukee, Waukesha, and southern
Washington and Ozaukee counties. Together,
we can accomplish more, have a greater impact, and
build additional capacity to engage people and
organizations. This will help us achieve our
mission and grow our position as the number one

10 Adorable Ambassadors
Milwaukee’s
newest Strong Baby campaign stars were selected
out of more than 300 who attended an open casting
call in November at the BMO Harris Bradley Center
and a social media casting call on the Strong Baby
Facebook page. The babies will be featured
in upcoming advertising campaigns produced by
Serve Marketing for the Milwaukee Lifecourse
Initiative for Healthy families (Milwaukee LIHF).

Professionals do all day?" Job shadow days
are one of the initiatives of IT United -
Information Technology professionals who make a
difference in the community through contribution,

Project LEAD
Have you dreamed
of volunteering as a Director of a United Way
Partner Agency Board?
We are kicking
off a brand new training program called "Project
LEAD" presented by the Leadership Society to
prepare community members for leadership roles on
nonprofit boards and committees, with an emphasis
on recruiting participants from underrepresented
board populations. Leadership Society
members are invited to serve as advisors to
program participants during and after the

our program partner agencies followed by a panel
discussion featuring one of our focus areas –
Education, Income or Health. Our first visit is on
