Conversation Cards

Conversation Cards

Join us to help assemble and pack 5,000 decks of conversation cards.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the root of everything our United Way stands for and fights for. We need everyone, in all corners of our community, to join the conversation. That is why United Way, in partnership with Uplifting Impact, is excited to invite you to help build “How to Start Talking about Race" conversation card decks.

Volunteers will pick up pre-bundled sheets of cards from our United Way office, take them home for assembly into decks, then return assembled decks to United Way. You are encouraged to keep a deck for yourself and share a deck with someone you know. The decks you return will be distributed to educators, community organizations, corporate groups, neighbors, and colleagues to continue to encourage impactful conversations.

Each volunteer will receive four packs of sheets creating a total of 16 decks of cards. This project is estimated to take about 1.5 - 3 hours.

All the volunteer slots for this project are taken. Please join our waitlist below to be contacted if other slots become available for this or additional waves of this project.
