The deadline for the next Project LEAD class is next week! The seven week training prepares community members for leadership roles on nonprofit boards and committees, with an emphasis on recruiting participants from underrepresented board populations (women, racially and ethnically diverse, young professionals).
Participants can connect to agencies with a mission that aligns with their interests. Applications for the fall class are due August 4. Thank you to EY for sponsoring the fall session!

The Diversity Leadership Society is partnering with Guest House of Milwaukee for the final harvest and clean-up of the Cream City Gardens. This urban garden provides organic food to Guest House, Friedens Community Ministries, and neighbors, as well as job training to formerly homeless individuals in the urban farming and the green industry. Be prepared for a day of gardening and working outside. Volunteers can sign up for a 3-hour shift or all day. Register today!
