Sign Up for Emerging Readers

Help a child develop a love of learning and reading! Emerging Reader volunteers are matched with a child who visits one of United Way’s partner agencies and buys books for their match four times a year.

Research shows that creating a reading culture at home encourages positive parent-child interactions and that book ownership is key to educational success. Register and learn more.
