NEWS & NOTES

From United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County

Our fingers are cold but our hearts are warm!

‘Tis the season to give back! If you are looking for a fun and meaningful opportunity to spread a little cheer, United Way has the perfect opportunity for you.

Help fill wishes: Holiday Giving Tree.
With your support, we can make the holidays a little brighter for thousands of local kids, adults, and seniors. Sign up for 15+ tags with your workplace or community group (through 11/22 only!) or make a donation to ensure a gift wish is filled.

Donate: winter clothes for kids & teens.
Help local kids and teens stay warm this winter! Mary Lou’s Closet is collecting new coats, boots, hats, scarves, and gloves in youth and teen/adult sizes. Donations can be dropped off at United Way. Learn more.

Choose-your-own volunteer project.
What is your volunteering passion? Our Seasons of Caring portal has hundreds of local volunteer projects for you to browse – think reading with kids, outdoor help for seniors, and much more. Looking for something specific? It’s easy to filter by agency name or interest area. Check it out.

Make a year-end donation.
When you give to United Way, you help lift up the whole community. If you’ve already given to United Way this year, thank you! If not, please consider making a gift through your workplace campaign. Or, make your tax-deductible donation here.

Spread the word.
Help spread the word about United Way – and stay connected on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to hear stories about the real people in our community that you help by giving and volunteering.
