Donate new toothbrushes and toothpaste for kids at Milwaukee Community Schools! Mary Lou’s Closet is an ongoing donation supply drive celebrating former United Way CEO Mary Lou Young and her passion for serving local youth. Donations can be dropped off at United Way’s Johnson Controls Volunteer Center.

WI Homestead Credit VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program

United Way is working with the Social Development Commission to recruit and train volunteers to assist in providing free tax services. The Johnson Controls Volunteer Center will be a site for free tax prep for the Wisconsin Homestead Credit. Volunteer as a
client intake specialist or
client tax preparer.
VITA Super Saturday

Help us celebrate Super Saturday, an event that welcomes the community to United Way to receive free tax prep and a variety of other services. Volunteers are needed to welcome and direct guests and assist with lunch.
