Making an Impact Locally and Globally
United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County hosted the inaugural Women United and Emerging Leaders Midwest Regional Convening on Wednesday, June 19. Participants included staff and volunteers from United Ways located in Detroit, Des Moines, Chicago, Racine, Madison, Indianapolis, Memphis and Omaha. Representatives from United Way Worldwide started the day by sharing key trends in women’s engagement and young adult engagement. The Regional Convening afforded United Way staff and volunteers the opportunity to share best practices and learn from other area United Ways. Our local United Way is so proud to continue to have the largest Women United network in the world! Thank you to our incredibly generous contributors.
