Women United mobilizes a powerful network of women who strengthen our community through an investment of talent, compassion and philanthropy. Women United fights for women’s empowerment and financial stability. 

Member Criteria

  • Annual individual gift of $1,200 or more, or
  • Annual joint gift of $2,400 or more

Member Benefits

  • Recognition in the United Way Leadership Registry (optional)
  • Exclusive invitations to member events and volunteer opportunities
  • Additional educational and networking opportunities


  • Women United Bruncheon: Annual event that raises over $50,000 each year to support and bring awareness to Healthy Youth programing. Past events have featured key note speakers such as a panel on Infant Mortality; President of United Way U.S.A., Stacy Stewart; Founding Dean of UW-Milwaukee’s School of Public Health, Dr. Magda Peck.
  • The Women United Mentoring Series helps high school freshmen set goals and plan their futures. More than 200 volunteers have connected with almost 400 girls.
  • Since 2002, Women United members have contributed over 1.5 million to the Healthy Youth initiative.
