Engage your team in a fun volunteer project from wherever you are! The Personal Care Kit Project brings volunteers together to pack personal care kits for men, women, and teens in our community.
The care kits include shampoo, soap, soap box, deodorant/antiperspirant, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush holder, lip balm, hairbrush, comb, facial tissue, wash cloth, wipes, and a hygiene tips flyer.
It’s easy to take for granted something as simple as a bar of soap. For adults and teens living in poverty or struggling, having access to personal care items supports their health and self-respect. Each Personal Care Kit includes hygiene items identified by our funded service-providing agencies as most needed.
This project impacts the following in our community:
- Men, women and teens residing in or receiving services from local emergency shelters
- Adults with special needs who receive support from agencies providing disabilities services
- Adults and teens struggling with mental illness or addiction
