Generac Power Systems Celebrates the Season by Giving Back

Generac employees have fun packing shoeboxes with health and hygiene products

Now THIS is how you get your employees into the giving spirit!

On November 18th, a large and lovely giving tree went up in the Generac offices, complete with Live United tshirt-shaped tags in red and green. Employees purchased the gifts listed on these tags to bring joy to clients of two local non-profits: The Women’s Center and Interfaith Senior Programs.

Later in November, The Women’s Center and Interfaith Senior Programs were at the heart of yet another holiday-themed project: the packing of 200 shoeboxes with crucial health and hygiene products by Generac employees, 100 of which would go to clients of each agency. During the shoebox-packing party, employees enjoyed the “warmth” of a fire projected overhead, as well as cookies and hot cocoa. Finally, employees had fun wrapping the shoeboxes like gifts and writing thoughtful tags.

Thanks, Generac employees, for making the season a bit brighter for people in the Waukesha community!
