Ten Easy Ways to Give Back on #GivingTuesday

Main Content

November 28, 2016

#GivingTuesday, celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, was created to encourage and amplify small random acts of kindness. Here’s our list of ten easy things you can do to celebrate #GivingTuesday:

  1. Buy a co-worker coffee or bring a treat in for the office.
  2. Donate from your desk.  Visit your favorite cause’s website and give them an extra gift to help them further their mission.
  3. Buy books for a child in your life or donate books to a local book drive.
  4. Drop off some gently used coats, hats, and gloves at a local shelter.
  5. Rake your neighbor’s yard or shovel their driveway.
  6. Write a letter or send a card to a loved one.
  7. Sign up to be a volunteer.
  8. Complement a stranger.
  9. Feed the parking meter for the person who parks after you.
  10. SMILE all day, at everyone and at everything.

Share your good deeds on social media using the #GivingTuesday hashtag and inspire others to join you in doing good.
