$60 Million! Record Goal for 2015 Community Campaign

Main Content

August 26, 2015

United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County has set a goal of $60 Million for its first Community Campaign as a merged organization. Inspiration and animals was the theme of the event held at Milwaukee County Zoo.

Our four campaign co-chairs kicked off the event: Cathy Jacobson, president and CEO of Froedtert Health in Wauwatosa; Suzanne Kelley, president of the Waukesha County Business Alliance; Alex Molinaroli, chairman, president and CEO of Johnson Controls Inc. in Glendale; and Cory Nettles, Of Counsel at Quarles & Brady LLP in Milwaukee.

One of the highlights for the 500+attendees was hearing 9 inspirational stories from people in the 4-county region who were helped by United Way. The stories, which focused on health, education, and financial stability, were sprinkled throughout program.

For the grand finale, our success story ambassadors helped reveal the exciting $60 million goal at the end of the program.

Check out all the photos from the event!

United Way’s campaign runs through December 15. Check out ways to get involved.

Special thanks to GE Healthcare, Froedert Health & the Medical College of Wisconsin for their generous sponsorship of the 2015 Community Campaign Kickoff.
