As a first-time participant of the United Way’s Milwaukee Bucks Free-throw Challenge, J.H. Findorff & Son Inc (Findorff) had a blast! We had high hopes of walking away the winner and checked all the boxes to prepare ourselves: Basketball shoes - check. Custom uniform - check. Ample practice time - check. Extensive player background screening for free-throw ability - check.

To be part of this challenge, Findorff had to raise at least $10,000 for United Way’s 2016 Community Campaign. Our employee’s commitment to giving back through community service and charitable work strengthens every year, and we are proud to support our local communities, friends and neighbors.

Although we didn’t walk away the winners, we reflected on a valuable lesson: always shoot from both baskets during practice and, above all, have fun! The entire experience was amazing and we’d like to give a big shout out to all the participating teams, as well as to United Way. We are proud of our involvement. Thanks, United Way, for helping Findorff Live United!
