Retire United

Main Content

Community members staying connected through meaningful volunteer and advocacy activities.

The mission of Retire United is to provide opportunities for retirees to improve our four-county region through giving, volunteering, and advocacy.

Changing Lives

Since 2013, Retire United has gathered to learn about pressing issues that our community faces, and discover what United Way is doing to address these issues.

Retire United members have packed school supplies and filled backpacks for students in our area. They have served as volunteers at Project Homeless Connect, guiding guests through the various resources offered at this annual event. They bundled diapers and wipes for new parent households. They packed lead safety kits and so much more.

These committed individuals always find ways to give back to their community and get things done.
