The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin empowers people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities by raising awareness, fostering acceptance, and providing assistance to individuals and families – building stronger, more connected communities.

Aligned Work

The Think Ability Wisconsin Center (TAWC) provides information, referral and support through their trusted, centralized entry point with clearly defined referral pathways for both accepting and referring clients across aging and disability systems. Referral pathways are designed to ensure timely access, accurate triage, and connection to appropriate resources that support stabilization and independence. This coordinated referral system ensures callers experience a seamless pathway from initial contact to stabilization and connection with the right supports. (Community Resiliency) 

The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (DSAW) focuses on employment and workforce advancement for individuals with disabilities. DSAW delivers targeted employment skills training, career exploration, job shadows, internships, and work-based learning experiences. Outcomes may include GED or HSED completion, industry-recognized certifications such as ServSafe, Manufacturing Basics, (Reducing Barriers to Employment & Advancement
