Mission
The mission of Kids Matter, Inc. is to help abused and neglected children heal and thrive, to bring volunteer energy and community support to foster and kinship children, and to apply lessons learned from helping children heal to prevent further child abuse.
Aligned Work
Kids Matter, Inc. has a system of referrals and services coordination with many district attorneys, victim/witness programs, domestic violence programs, medical providers, school counselors/social workers including homeless education programs, child protection systems, courts, housing, benefits, substance use, mental health providers, runaway programs, etc. This program fills gaps for counties where a clear referral path is absent & makes a reliable online resource available 24/7.
