Mission

Provide education, life skills, and job training opportunities for Metro Milwaukee's unemployed/under-employed adults and at-promise youth that allows them to earn wages while improving the community as well as the environment.

Aligned Work

Milwaukee Community Service Corps aligned provides education, training, and credentials through its Core Training program. Participants earn OSHA10 and National Safety Council Forklift Operator credentials valued in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, and environmental services. MCSC also provides a CPR/AED/First Aid credential and advanced pathways such as our WI certified Arborist Pre-Apprenticeship. These stackable credentials increase job readiness and create on ramps to apprenticeships, advanced training, and career advancement. (Reducing Barriers to Employment & Advancement

Milwaukee Community Service Corps provides digital literacy classes to address the most common digital barriers observed among job seekers. Instructions are small cohort-based training delivered over 2-3 weeks. One on one support, make up classes, and further technology support will be available for participants throughout their time receiving any job development and certification from MCSC. (Techquity
