Reentry Housing Assistance, Workforce Readiness – Leading with Equity & Empowerment

Funded Program

Reentry Housing Assistance: Program provides security deposit and up to three months of rent assistance for justice-impacted parents as they exit correctional institutions and get restabilized with their family. (Safe and Stable Homes)

Workforce Readiness – Leading with Equity & Empowerment: Interviews individuals shortly after release and prescreens for interests, skillsets, needs, and prior job-readiness training or education. If appropriate, they are offered an opportunity to participate in the Bridging the Tech Gap for Returning Citizens and Financial Literacy, a 5-week, 20-hour weekend technology training program on how to use a Smart phone, how to use a computer to search for and apply for employment, how to complete a resume, and how to access community services.
