Community Flash Card Project

Community Flash Card Project

Join Northwestern Mutual, in partnership with United Way, to help assemble and pack 12,000 sets of reading and math flash cards for local students. This volunteer activity can be in the comfort of your own home. Pre-packed supply bundles of flash cards and all supporting materials will be distributed through a contact-less drive-through during one of the pick up times listed below.

Volunteers will take the supply bundles home, tear apart the cards, organize the deck, write a note of encouragement to both the student and parent, assemble into a sealed bag, and affix a label to the outside of the package. Upon completion, volunteers will deliver completed flash card sets by way of a contact-less drop-off at United Way during one of the drop off dates listed below.

The cards will be distributed to students and families throughout our community this fall.

All flash card sets have been claimed!
