Labor Union Partners

Main Content

Labor Unions and United Way are partners in making our community a better place to live. United Way counts on labor union partners for their strong history of giving and volunteer participation.

With support from AFL-CIO Community Services liaisons, the Milwaukee Area Labor Council and Waukesha County Labor Council are involved in the annual campaign to raise awareness, money and goods for United Way.

Union councils and their locals provide direct help through treasury gifts, volunteer efforts and special charitable support. During the community campaign, they meet monthly as a Labor Cabinet.
