Continuum of Care Policies

As the lead agency for the Milwaukee Continuum of Care, The United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is responsible for monitoring programs that receive funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). United Way ensures programs are managing their grants properly and following all HUD requirements, as well as local standards set by the Milwaukee Continuum of Care. In addition, they also provide Technical Assistance to support programs in improving performance and strengthening services.
