Homeownership Program: Habitat engages with homeowners holistically to break the cycle of poverty perpetuated by inaccessible safe, stable housing. Requiring financial literacy education, helping build their home alongside staff and volunteers through 200 hours of sweat equity per adult, and learning homeownership basics, this program addresses the impediments to housing stability throughout all stages of the process.
