In 2025, Women United continued to bring women together around a shared belief: when we invest in young people today, we help build a stronger community for tomorrow.
From supporting teen mental wellness to helping schools create environments where students feel a greater sense of belonging, Women United members are making an impact – and earning an A+ along the way.

$500,000 Invested in Teen Mental Wellness
Mental wellness is an essential part of helping young people thrive and Women United members are helping make it a priority.
In 2025, Women United donated $500,000 to Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds, which supported the implementation costs of a comprehensive school mental health system for 10 schools for one school year.
21 Partner Schools
Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds is reaching more students through 21 partner schools for the 2026/27 academic year.
That's an important step toward a larger goal: elevating the mental wellness of 21,000 high school students by 2030. We’re on the path to a stronger, healthier future and as of June 2026, we are 25% of the way to our goal.
$170,000 in Annual Event Revenue
Women United's events aren't just opportunities to gather – they help generate approximately $170,000 in revenue annually to support Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds.
From signature events like Bruncheon and SPREE: Shopping for Change to member gatherings, women are coming together with purpose and turning connection into impact.

Impact in Action
A Stronger Start for Waukesha South
Waukesha South received its highest-ever DPI report card score, with the school crediting our partnership through Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds as a key factor.
South tells us that the meaningful and strategic “whole school wellness work” that they’ve been doing through Empowering Minds proves that “when young people feel well, they do well.”
Focusing on mental health has improved the purpose of all their work. It has impacted student attendance, behavior, and coursework.
A Greater Sense of Belonging
Students aren't simply recipients of support. They are active participants in shaping solutions.
At partner schools, students help identify the needs that matter most to them and their peers, helping shape each school's strategies and solutions.
This work helps to increase a student’s sense of belonging at school, which we know is protective against symptoms of anxiety and depression.
That sense of connection matters. When young people feel seen, supported, and connected to their school community, they have a stronger foundation from which to learn, grow, and thrive.
Looking Ahead
Women United members are helping create a stronger future for young people across our community. So what does your annual $1,200+ gift do?
It gives:
- 2 schools the funds to furnish their school therapists’ offices, or
- 4 students access to universal mental wellness screening tools for an entire school year, or
- 12 one-hour sessions of therapy for students, or
- 40 mindfulness kits,
- and more.
The impact of Women United extends beyond any single program, event, or statistic. Throughout the year, members have opportunities to connect, learn, advocate, and volunteer through signature events, member socials, educational opportunities, and advocacy efforts, including trips to the state capitol.
These experiences help create a community of women who aren't just giving. They're actively engaged in understanding the challenges facing young people and working together to address them.
Women United's 2025 report card isn't just a look back at what members accomplished. It's a reminder of what's possible when women come together around a common purpose.
With 21 partner schools today and a goal of elevating the mental wellness of 21,000 students by 2030, the work is growing. And with more than 1,300 members united behind that work, the momentum is growing, too.
Together, we are building a community where every young person can thrive.
